Specifically designed for Steam Deck Type A Stick, the GuliKit Type A Stick is the solution you need. Simply check your Controller ID by navigating to Settings → System → Steam Deck Controller ID. If your Controller ID starts with "MEDA," then this joystick is compatible with your device. Stay tuned for a new version tailored for Type B sticks as well.

After installing the GuliKit stick, calibration is essential to ensure optimal performance. Press the small button on the back of the joystick, then open Konsole on your Steam Deck in desktop mode. Type "thum" and press Tab to access the calibration instructions. Once calibration is complete, check the joystick calibration interface to confirm that the joysticks return to the center position (0,0).

The package includes 2 Joystick models, 2 steel screwdriver bits, a multi-bit screwdriver, an ESD tweezer, and a crowbar. However, soldering tools are not included. Remember to discharge your battery before starting the replacement work and shut down your Steam Deck before reassembling it post-calibration.
